Longtime Riverton, Wyoming resident Harold Willman passed away October
16, 2009 at Lemay Avenue Health and Rehabilitation Center, in Ft.
Collins, Colorado where he resided as a resident for the past four
years. Harold was born August 18, 1915 in Atwood, Colorado where he
farmed with his family. He married Mollie Hergenrader on December 2,
1933 and together they raised two children, Harold Dean Willman and
Carol Willman Verley. In 1956 he moved to Riverton to open the A & W
Root Beer franchise and retired in 1981. Harold enjoyed many hobbies;
gardening, his dog "Toby", traveling, fishing and attending church
functions. He was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene
in Riverton where he enjoyed teaching and attending Sunday school
classes. In September, 1997 his wife of 64 years, Mollie, passed away.
He was fortunate enough to find other wonderful women to love, Pearl
Greer, and married her in November, 1998. They both had resided in Fort
Collins for the past four years. Harold and Pearl travelled the world
and enjoyed each other's company until Pearl passed away, July 14, 2009.
Harold is survived by two children, Harold D. Willman and his wife Shari
Willman of Roswell, Georgia, Carol Verley of Bouce, Arizona. He also
has five grandchildren, Mike Willman, Loren Willman, Kathy Willman
James, Debbie Verley and Dale Verley. He was blessed with many
great-grandchildren which he enjoyed and delighted him throughout his
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the First
Church of the Nazarene, 408 E. Sunset Drive, Riverton, Wyoming. Viewing
will be at 9:30, service at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers,
