Memorial services for Mary Ellen Felton of Riverton will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 25, at the Eagles Club in Riverton. Pastor Mark Yeatman of the United Baptist Church will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Mrs. Felton died at her home Wednesday evening, June 20, 2007, battling cancer for one year. She was 60 years old. Mary Ellen Monson was born in Powell on July 25, 1946, the daughter of Robert Monson and Willa "Billy" (Gebhart) Monson. She moved to Riverton with her parents from Powell when she was two years old, attending Ashgrove Elementary School, Riverton Junior High School, and was graduated from Riverton High School. On April 23, 1965, she married Lloyd Grant Felton in Riverton. They were later divorced in April of 1987, but remained friends until his death in 1997. Mrs. Felton worked at Bi-Rite Liquor from 1973 until 1985 then worked for Brunton Company in Riverton building military compasses, from 1985 until January of 2007. She was a member of the Christian faith. Her family said she enjoyed Nascar racing, cooking, camping, her family and friends, her two dogs, Cody and Sassy. She was an avid fan of the Fremont County Demolition Derby and had won the Powder Puff event 15 years ago. Mrs. Felton was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary #3036 and the Turtles Club. She is survived by sons, Willie Felton and his wife Toni of Casper, and Bob Felton and his wife Allison of Riverton; a daughter, Mary Lynn Felton and her fiancé Darrell Wolbert of Riverton; six grandchildren, Buddy, Amanda, Breezie, Jim, Chelsea, and Chad Felton; and great grandson, Chaz Felton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Billy Monson, and her former husband, Lloyd Felton. Memorials may be made to the Little Wind Hospice care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W.
