Jerome Jude Addison, known by many as Romy or Romy-Dogg. His Indian name Blue Eagle Man (Ceeneeteenii eihii ‘nen), passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana. He was 54 years old.
Jerome was born February 25, 1971, in Riverton, Wyoming, to Colleen (SunRhodes) and Floyd Addison, Sr. He was raised in the Bay Area of San Francisco, California, where he spent his formative years. Throughout his life, he lived and worked in both San Francisco and Seattle, Washington, holding various jobs including working as a mover and a long-haul driver after earning his CDL.
On July 1, 2021, Jerome married Denise Marla Oldman at the 789 Casino in Riverton. He was a devoted husband and proud father to his children.
Jerome had a deep love for sports and was a lifelong fan of Major League Baseball, especially the San Francisco Giants. He also passionately supported the San Francisco 49ers. In his spare time, he found peace in music and enjoyed strumming on his guitar. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, and had a deep love for waterfalls.
A Rosary with Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2025, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. A wake will follow at the home of Colleen Addison, located at 1540 Elmwood Drive in Beaver Creek Housing. The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church with Father Andrew Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery in St. Stephens, Wyoming.
Jerome is survived by his wife, Denise Addison; sons, Kaleo Jude Shoyo and Daius Shoyo; daughter, Romi Jonise Shoyo; brothers, Floyd Addison, Jr. and Dominic (Veronica) Addison; and sisters, Tina Addison and Dionne Addison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Colleen Addison, Sr.; brother, Ryan Blackburn; grandparents, Ernest and Ruth SunRhodes, Lavina Brown, Chester Arthur, Rosaline Addison, and Raymond Addison, Sr.; and his aunt, Linda Coley.
