In Loving Memory of Wyatt Hayes Sorensen
January 6, 2021 – June 27, 2025
On June 27, 2025, our sweet, wild-hearted Wyatt left this world and stepped to the stars, leaving behind muddy boots, a world of memories, and hearts that will never be the same. At just 4 years old, he packed more life, love, and laughter into his days than many do in a lifetime.
Losing Wyatt hurts in ways words can’t touch. But if you knew him, you know this: Wyatt wouldn’t want us stuck in sorrow. He’d want us outside—catching grasshoppers, riding dirt bikes too fast, climbing too high, and laughing too loud. He’d want us living wide open, just like he did.
Wyatt lived boldly. He didn’t tiptoe through life—he ran through it barefoot and full throttle, picking up every bug and stick and memory along the way. And that’s how we’ll honor him. We’ll tell his stories. We’ll wear his name like a badge of courage. And when we see a sunset, or a tractor, or a muddy path through the trees—we’ll smile and think, “That’s our boy.”
We’ll live like Wyatt. We’ll take the detour. We’ll say "I love you" more. We’ll dig deep, play hard, and love bigger. His life may have been short, but his legacy is anything but.
Wyatt is lovingly remembered by his parents, Henry and Briana Sorensen; his big brother, Jace Sorensen; his grandparents, Nancy Sorensen, Kevin and Tammy Marshall, and Pete and Cindy Beich; his great-grandmother, Bobbie Heck; his aunt, Shelby Beich; his uncle and aunt, Chance and Karlee Marshall; his uncle, Ryder Marshall; and his cousins, Myla and Hayes Marshall. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were blessed to know his bright spirit.
His grandfather, Stacey Allen Sorensen, preceded him in death.
A celebration of Wyatt's life will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 5:30 PM at the Sorensen Residence:
140 River Bluffs Rd, Kinnear, WY.
