Roberta Dee Ramage, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, partner, and friend left this world on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the age of 73.

Roberta's life will be celebrated during a graveside service at Lake View Cemetery in Shoshoni on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM.

Born on January 27, 1952, in Thermopolis, Wyoming, Roberta brought joy and love to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of kindness, strength, humor, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community.

Roberta grew up in a loving home, the daughter of Bill and Margaret Ramage. She was deeply influenced by their values and instilled those same values in her own family. She was preceded in death by her cherished parents and her best friend, Susie Luers, whose spirit and laughter she carried with her throughout her life.

A proud graduate of the Shoshoni High School Class of 1970, Roberta embraced every opportunity that came her way. She was a business owner, a dedicated bank manager, a bus driver for her dear friend Linda Sullivan, and served as the Post Mistress in Lysite, Wyoming. Her professional journey was marked by her integrity and a genuine desire to connect with others.

Roberta was more than her career; she was a vibrant presence in her community. Her strong faith was evident in her actions and words. Roberta found peace in the simple pleasures of life: the song of meadowlarks, the scent of sagebrush, the joy of a new lamb, and the dew on freshly cut roses. Her community involvement included volunteering for the Lysite 4-H Club, where she touched the lives of many young people, often serving as a second mom to those fortunate enough to know her.

Roberta was a woman of many passions. She loved the great outdoors, thriving while camping, ranching, and riding horses. She had a special talent for arranging breathtaking bouquets of flowers that brightened the homes of her friends and family. Her adventurous spirit was matched only by her sense of humor; she was known for her playful pranks, including convincing her younger brother and daughter, James and Brandy, that her olblue Chevy pickup could fly. On Halloween, her legendary Big Foot shenanigans even made the pages of the Shoshoni News!

Perhaps the most significant chapter in Roberta's life began in 1979 when she met the love of her life, Bob Green. Their bond was profound and enduring, marked by romantic gestures that filled her heart with joy—dozens of red roses, elegant jewelry, and dancing together under the stars. Bob not only embraced Roberta's ranching lifestyle but also became a loving father figure to her daughter, Brandy. Their partnership was a testament to true love, filled with grace, laughter, and unwavering support.

Roberta's family was her greatest treasure. She is survived by her beloved life partner, Bob Green; her daughter, Brandy Ramage; her granddaughter, Soraya Ramage; her brothers David (Krista), James (Amy), Elliott (Scott), and Billy Ramage; her sister Barb (Greg) Gardner; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, her wisdom, and her love.

A woman of remarkable character, Roberta was known for her honesty, kindness, strength, and quick wit. She had a beautiful soul, enriched by grace and a love for life that was evident in everything she did. With her nails always painted and her lipstick in place, she had a signature scent of floral perfume that lingered in the hearts of those she met. As a poet, she touched lives with her soulful words, gifting many with her written expressions of love and beauty.

As we gather to honor her memory, we cherish the legacy of love and laughter she leaves behind. Roberta Dee Ramage will forever be remembered as a beacon of light in our lives, a beautiful spirit who showed us the power of love, family, and the great outdoors. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
