Dari Marie Davis was born on June 22, 1971, in Riverton, Wyoming, the daughter of Ronald L. and Jerra (Johnston) Davis. She grew up in Riverton and graduated from Rawlins High School in 1989. Dari went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Wyoming.
Her career path was as diverse as it was fulfilling. She first worked as a flight attendant, then as a realtor, later serving as an Admissions Advisor at DeVry University. Most recently, she was a military enrollment advisor for the University of Arizona Global Campus. Her work took her to Denver and Fort Collins, Colorado, and Cheyenne, Wyoming, before she fulfilled her dream of returning home to Riverton in 2022.
Those who knew Dari will remember her for her warmth, bright smile, creativity, and love for her loyal companion dog, Jo-Jo, whom she enjoyed walking daily. She had a passion for interior decorating and cherished time spent with family and friends. She especially treasured her close relationship with her brother Devin’s family and her beloved niece, Maaryn.
Dari’s strong sense of faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She was a devoted member of the Presbyterian Church in Riverton.
Survivors include her mother, Jerra Davis of Cheyenne, WY; brother, Dr. Devin Davis and his wife, Kim of Riverton along with their children, Maaryn Davis, Brandon Smart and Tyler Smart; her loving companion, Jo-Jo; uncle, James Bohl; cousin, Kendall Bohl both of Wheatland, WY and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Davis; uncle, Larry Johnston; aunt, Kay Bohl; grandparents, Marie and Doval Johnston and Wilma and Russel Davis.
