Humphreys, Sidney

To Bart, Thad, and Susan:

We will miss Sid and Ruth so very much. As a youth I remember Sid's friendly "Hello" when you saw him. You couldn't ask for a more warm and pleasant man. The last time I saw him was at one of the SHS Reunions. May the Lord bless you at this sad time. Our prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sid was a wonderful man and I remember many times exploring Gambles for hours while my dad and Sid dickered over a special find. Sid had everything in that store--and he knew just where to find it.

To the family of Sid Humphrey, him and Ruth were our neighbors for years, you knew when Sid was up and about, his whistling was loud and clear and loved the western music at the store,he didn`t need a pickup to haul anything, he`d throw a mattress on top of car, away he`d go, if their was weeds to be cut, get the old scythe, he was one of good ole guys we will miss. All our Love and Prayers.
