I am so sorry for your loss. He always had a big smile and friendly laugh when you would meet him. I can still see him riding his big motorcycle down the street. He will be missed by many. He was definitely a very special person.

My thoughts are with all of his family.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I have great memories of R.J. when I worked at the flower shop. He always had a smile and a funny comment that in turn made me smile. I know he is watching over you all with a smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have many memories that I will always carry with me, times we met walking on the bike path and would stop to visit, the veteran float in the parade (that he really did not want to ride on), working for the city or seeing him ride his MC around town. The fire banquets were always fun with him there, so many memories, too many to mention. And, of course, his comment, "I will have to talk to my immediate superior"

Rest Well, my Friend, you deserve it!

Babe, Bev, Larry, Reone & families,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Brownie was such a character, always ready to serve, his country, community, family, friends. Always with a smile & a smart comment or two! I remember when I worked at the flower shop & was going to make dinner for a date on a Saturday, he got very excited, said he'd be right back, he had something I needed to serve my date with dinner! When he got back he handed me a roll of Tums & said, your date will thank me later! And I loved how he grumbled about the "Rawhide Dollies", but was then so sweet to them! Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers! There will never be another like him!

R.J. Brown Family

R.J. was a friend of ours that will be missed for a long time . We made several trips on our Motor Cycles through Wyoming and Montana . I enjoyed sharing stories with R.J. . The one when he helped get a cat down from top of a power pole by Ashgrove was the real rib tickler. R.J. was a person that was happy all the time. We enjoyed all the time we shared together traveling around Wyoming on our Motor Cycles. 4 We R Tony and Claudetta Swasso

Michelle and I just wanted to let you know that you are all in our prayers...this stage of our lives is pretty tough, taking care of our parents and not having them able to take care of us like they always did. Knowing that they are are at peace and no longer struggling to survive lifes hardships should make it easier for us, but it really doesn,t...our parents are supposed to always be there for us. please know that we are sorry for your loss. Hang in there. Daria and Michelle Brown

Always smiling on that big bike of his I will never forget him and his can do attitude.

Mark & Nancy Sehnert - 3/31/2012

Brownie was such a great friend and comrade in the fire service. His great sense of humor and friendliness was an inspiration to us all. I really loved his statements such as calling Babe his "immediate superior" and needing to deliver "noxious weeds" for her. Chief R.J. Brown will be watching out for all of us from his better place.

To Edith, Larry, Bev and Reone and families:
I am sorry for your loss. RJ lived a long healthy life and that is a blessing. Also he is together with my great friend Randy once again.
