Shannon L. Rhodd

Rhodd, Shannon L.

Kathy and Fritz,
I am so sorry for the lost of your beloved
Shannon. I too feel the loss as I'm sure
many of her family and friends will and do.
She was fun, loving and generous, especially
with her lovely jewelry. May she rest in peace
in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are in my thoughts. Loss of a child is something that no parent should have to bear. Please accept my condolences.

Mr. and Mrs Rein Was shocked to read in the paper that your beautiful daughter had gone to be with the Lord at such a young age. I will always remember her foundly and I will never forget Shannon dragging Main with her mother in her Mustang. Shannons personality was one of a kind and she was fun to be around. You are in my prayers.

So very saddened and shocked by this news.
Words can’t express how special Shannon was to so many
of us who knew her in her early 20’s at the University of Wyoming.
Please know how much she will be missed.
I am having a real “Big Chill” moment reflecting on her warmth, wonderful
deep musical laugh, her intense, passionate curiosity and the way she always looked at each day as a gift: She was a crafty and smart tomboy trapped in the body of a 1950’s pinup girl! And she was the ULTIMATE Gemini. If you knew Shannon, then you know exactly what I mean. I literally have had no contact with anyone in Riverton since my family re-located to Cheyenne and only came upon the news of Shannon’s passing today. Truly? If I had had more notice about her Memorial Service (I'm a pianist and live and work in Vegas and can't get away easily around this time of year), I probably would have tried to arrive unexpectedly with some local musicians I had corralled from RHS and make them play tunes like Styx’s “Babe” and various ballads from the early 80’s…while I had a piñata under my arm stuffed with illicit unmentionables, and a boom box cranked blasting “Sunday bloody Sunday” on my shoulder. Shannon would have loved it.
Goodbye sweet Shannon: Fly with the angels. Best to all of you, who knew and loved her.

I am so saddened to hear about Shannon's passing. There are so many great memories I have with her-- She had a great smile, a huge personality. The world is, sadly, quieter without her.
