Dessie Holliday

Holliday, Dessie

Dessie must have been one amazing and wonderful woman because she raised Bev and Rod.
Dessie taught them to love people for who they are.
I am so grateful to know Bev, onefunemt, passionate and caring, and Bev-- I am so sorry for your loss. I'll never forget the day my mom died, how it felt. I believe she must have been so lonesome for your dad she had To go looking for him! Didn't they stick pretty close together? They had to be missing Rod, they did so much to help him through those last hard years.
What good people, with heart and soul-- Bev, be proud to be one of them!
I send my sincere love and heartfelt sadness and hugs to you.

Bev and family,
You have had some sadness in the last couple of years. It is so hard losing a parent but losing them both so quickly has to be difficult. I have known your folks since I moved here in 1977. They were always so fun loving and kind. She was a pleasure to work with. She was always there with a smile on her face and something funny to say. I am glad to have had the privilege of knowing her. My thoughts and prayers are with all your family.

Dear Bev and Miles- I am saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. When Loren and I moved to Riverton 37 yrs ago, we were without family or friends here and expecting our first child. Boy, was I blessed to get a job working with your Mom. She was like a mother to me. Her kindness and caring really made a difference for us.
I remember the time the doctor said to start feeding the baby solids. Well, I sure didn't know much. In comes your Mom with a grocery bag full of Gerber's. She always had good answers to my baby questions and was ready to help. And was she a hard worker. She ran circles around me in the office. And I know she did the same at home. She could always laugh at herself and had funny stories about her and Herb. She loved you kids and her grand kids and it was very apparent. I had not seen her in many years. But knowing she is not here makes me very sad and missing my good friend. How blessed your family was to have her. And how blessed I was to have known her. Thank you for sharing her- Katy Jost
