Lewis, Yvonne

Russ: Vonnie and I went to school in Big Fork I also met Peggy there. I don't know if you remember coming to Dan's and my house in Belgrade, Mt. That was while you lived in Great Falls. The last time I saw you, Tim was still little. I met you all at Bozeman Hot Springs. She told me Good-Bye then. She thought we wouldn't see each other again because of her health. I miss her dearly as I am sure you do. I know as do you she is singing to Jesus now and at his throne. Take care to you Tanya and Tim. I hope to see we hope to see you if you ever go by our house again. Jonnie and Dan Chesley 406-388-1294 406-548-2257

We found each other so many years ago, long before Tanya and Tim was there and it was a friendship that grew and grew. We started talking one day about our older family and I mentioned a Aunt Goldie I had in the Flathead area and she got the giggles as she also had a Aunt Goldie in that area. Then we knew that we were family more than friends and I am so glad and proud to have called her a cousin. I started going with her to sing at different place here in Great Falls and at that time it was the bars on Sunday evenings. She didn't want to go there alone so I went along, She had the voice of a angel no matter what she sang. When she was saved she turned her talents to witness thru her voice. She came 1 time to see me when I was living in a nursing home and she sang for me and her voice being so strong it attracted quite a group of others that lived there out in the hall. Once when I was in the hospital it was hard to get a shower at the time but she jumped up and told the nurses she was willing to do it so off came her dress and in the bathroom we went and she gave me a shower in her bra and panties, The nurse came as asked if we were having a party and of course we said Yes so don't open the door, She might not be where we can touch her now but she is touching each and everyone that came into her life, I am so blessed for knowing her and she will forever remain in her pocket of my heart, I wont say good bye I just want to say I will see you when I see you so keep the sing loud and clear so we can follow you. With all my Love to you

When Yvonne and I met we instantly became friends, like we had known one another for years and years. Through the past several years that friendship just continued to grow and grow. Yvonne was a very big part of my life and I will miss her deeply. She is at peace now and in no pain and I am so grateful for that and the time I had with her She was always very close to God and now she is closer yet. I Love You, Yvonne.

So sorry for your loss--I only knew Yyonne for a short time; but really enjoyed visiting with her and her great attitude and gusto for life even when she was "hurting". She will surely be missed.

We met Yvonne & and Russell at auction that was held once a week. And from there they started coming to church. She would bless us with singing specials at church. We spent many 4th of July barbeque, wraped in blankets watching fireworks.Surprise birthday party's for Russell.I remember telling her she was pregnant, first time she raised her voice to yell at me that she couldn't have a baby. The joy we got share with her when she came to Church and told us she was going to have a baby. The happy news when they were able to adopt Tanya. She was always surrounded by children. So many memories. We hold her in our hearts.Praying for her family.
