I am Terry's little brother, Carson Antelope. I am going to miss Terry so much. We had lot of history together. We were raised in Watonga, Oklahoma. We went to school. until the 9th grade in Watonga. Then we both attended Douglas Mac Arthur High School in Lawton, Oklahoma. Terry Graduated in 1972. I graduated in 1974.
Terry, my little brother Edmund and me had memories with our father until he died in 1967. Our mother died two years later in 1969. Then our older sister took care of us boys until we were legal age.
Terry and I celebrated birthday's together. We had the same birthday's! We went through good times and hard times living with our parents. We always had to take care of Edmund. Our parents had nice homes for us boys. We had a car too.
Our father used to take us to the Oklahoma State park called Roman Nose Park. We flew our kites and went swimming there. Our parents made sure we had things. Terry and I always had bikes. We went to bible schools at local churches. We went fishing and hunting with our own friends. We had some nice cousin's to hang around with.
Christmas days when our parents were both alive. Our father used to cook us pancakes before we opened our presents. He used to let our mother sleep in.
Terry went Oklahoma City after High school to work. I went back to Watonga for a few months before joining the army. I joined the Army a year before Terry joined the Army too. Terry and I were Paratrooper's in the military. Our father was a Paratrooper too and a combat Korean veteran.
Terry honorably discharged a year before I did. We almost met one week end at Paris, France. But I had training and he did too. He was in Italy and I was in West Germany!
We had lot of good memories together. When we saw each other, if we haven't seen each other for a long time. We would hug and shake hands. Most of my relatives and friends in Oklahoma still practice that. I will always love my older brother, Terry!. I will surely miss him until we meet again. It is tragic that my brother passed away...
