It breaks my heart to hear of Eric's death. I have great memories of our friendship from Casper College days on. Trap club, Biology'field trips', volunteer firefighting on Casper Mountain, Mt. Hope/ Elko, my first successful packed in elk hunt, (thanks Dick and Eric). Knowing his pain and anguish over Kirk's disappearance and death. We didn't see each other very often over these past 20 years but it was always a quick pick up whenever we did. He was my image of a modern day frontiersman- solitary yet amiable, gruff on the exterior, but you knew better if you knew him, strong and stoic. I could go on, but I already have. I am also sorry that I can't be there to celebrate his life, but that I will keep you all in my thoughts.

I am so sorry for the loss of Eric. Back in the nineties we spent a lot of time together, had a lot of good times. He was a great guy and always up for an adventure. The last time I saw him was at our house for dinner in 2012, it was great to see him and talk about the good ole' days.

Sorry I didn't make the funeral, I was looking in the Riverton paper for info, but there wasn't any, then I came across the announcement from the funeral home, but it is already over. I am truly sorry I missed it, would have definantly been there.
