Delbert J. Madrid

Madrid, Delbert J.

I would just like to express my sincere condolences to your family. I taught Delbert when he was in 8th grade at Shoshoni. Such a sweet person, he was small, but had a huge heart. He was not a quitter and even though he struggled with school, I never once heard the words, "I can't do this". He kept at it and continued to try each day. I loved hearing about his animals and how entertaining they were. He was truly such an innocent soul and I have thought of him often over the years. I saw him running in track last year. Although he was not the fastest in his heat, he kept at it and finished. That essence of not giving up was so inspiring to all who knew him. Please know I am thinking of you in this difficult time, but be comforted to know he is in a better place with his little sister.
