It's difficult to imagine that it has been nearly 35 years since I first met Miss Beverly. I will always remember her kind heart, generous spirit and uplifting personality. She was so encouraging and supportive of everyone in her life. It was such a blessing to have her joyful influence, as her presence brightened any occasion or event. She brought determined optimism, endearing hope and an unforgettable smile into every situation. She loved to celebrate the many accomplishments of her devoted family. She absolutely glowed with pride when Chris graduated from high school and, likewise. cherished each and every success from her children, grandchildren and great grand kids. It was obvious that Miss Beverly adored children. Her genuine compassion and affection for youth was a shining example of the inspiration she shared with others. Her daughter Keri clearly inherited a lot of her mother's outstanding qualities and wonderful character of giving to others. Over the past three decades, I have admired Keri and Andy for their commitment to fairness, equality and progress for those less fortunate. This positive outlook was, no doubt, influenced by Keri's amazing Mom. Miss Beverly did not see limitations, she only envisioned unique potential in every individual she encountered. She had many gifts and talents to offer in this world, however, I am most grateful for the patience, tolerance and quiet courage that she forever exhibited. That was one lesson in dignity, grace and purpose that will hold a permanent position in my heart. Even as a troubled student at Central Wyoming College in Riverton, Keri's parents welcomed me as part of the family. Our friendship has endured through the years, the miles, the hardships and the celebrations. Although I weep that Miss Beverly has moved before us to a higher level, I also shed tears of joy because Heaven has surely gained a very special Guardian angel.
