A beautiful soul rejoicing in a heavenly kingdom. My dear friend for many years especially during our Flandreau Indian School days. Memories of laughter and crazy moments that made awesome stories in our few times we had to reminisce. Always remember when Karen stated “all our tunes we we listened to back in the day are now the oldies, but we are still cool”. You will be missed my dear sister girl.

I will miss you sister! I will always cherish our childhood memories when we played tiny tots bball ams were classmates. Most importantly, when we played ball in h.s and were named All State as seniors. We were teammates during the Wyoming All Star West vs. East game in 1984. Will be missed!

Condolences to the family. Prayers that you find comfort in your memories. Karen was always a special teacher to our family as she taught our son at CHILD Project. He was always talking of Karen, who very appropriately used a basketball for her name sign in the classroom. It was nice to visit her at parent teacher conferences then and later with reversed roles with her son in my classroom. She was always positive, smiling, and encouraging of everyone around her. ?

I was in the newspaper business and covered her. And one thing she taught me and our coach is there is no defense for a 25 foot set shot before there even was a 3 pt line.

You could not just let her stand there and shoot. Then when someone went to cover her she got the defense spread and made you pay. "Karen" was really something to see but not all that much fun to play against.

We talked a few times over the years just because we had that connection and I am sincerely sorry for your loss. It is great.
