Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tracy and the entire Givens family. John and I were fortunate enough to ride with him on the Rim. He showed us Ruby's cabin and shared many stories about it. This part of the world was his home. Along with his love for the land he loved his entire family; his parents, aunt's & uncle, cousins, brothers & sisters, niece's & nephews. But most of all, he loved his wife, children & grandchildren. I hope they all know this deep down in their hearts. I've been wondering, what would RG want of us after this tragedy? I think he would want us to honor his memory by doing our best and living life to the fullest! Ronnie, I hope your smiling down on us, as your riding some big ol' horse, at a flat out run, over the prairie lands of heaven. Cheers dear friend! Joyce and John Hazlewood

Our most heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Tracy and family, and the multitude of neighbors and friends that have called Ronnie “friend”. He has touched so many lives with his infectious humor and knowledge, as well as his intense dedication and zest for life.
A cowboy in the truest form, a caring, beloved friend that has always
been there in good times and bad, and a neighbor of the highest sort. Today he rides the mountains and trails of heaven with a sparkle in his eye and big smile on his face. Ride on cowboy,
and until we meet again, you’ll be sadly missed.
…and remember, “Don’t squat with your spurs on.”
Friends forever,
Larry and Val Miller

Tracy ,Children and Grandchildren Judy ,Missy ,Guy, Dode, Britt & Pat .
My Heart is saddened for you and all the Givens Family for the loss of Ronnie .
The wonderful years growing up on the Reservation were the best years of my life and knowing Ronnie and the rest of you was God’s way of giving Love generously when we did not even know it.
Thinking back how much my life was shaped by Ronnie’s attitude and good hearted gestures gave me a foundation and helped form my values !
Ronnie’s commitment to his passion with High school sports and his Rodeo passion were strong testimony for any of us who knew and respected him .
May Gods Grace and Peace be with you always not in this time only but into Eternity .
Psalms 34:18
The LORD is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.
As Ronnie looks down from Heaven with Jesus may we all be touched by the goodness and blessings that touched us all.
If I may be of assistance please let me know how I may help .
Peace ,Grace and Love to you all !

Looking in the rearview mirror, Ronnie reminds us that humble beginnings are no excuse for failure. The huge send-off today is a reminder of 'community' going back decades...those bonds from our childhoods are never really broken. Ronnie's passing brought friends & neighbors together representing the big 'family' we are a part of. He came from good stock, as the old timers would say. May those traditions live on...in all of us.

Condolences to the family.
