John 'Dave' Moss

Moss, John "Dave"

There aren't words to describe why Dave was to me. The closest I can come is friend, and grandfather. He was such a joy to talk to and his teasing, and sometimes grumpy attitude always kept me guessing.  He will do desperately missed. Love you Dave

We send our prayers and thoughts to the Moss family.  Dave  opened his home to me (Dave Witthar) when I first came to Wyoming and we had a great time.  He was family to me.

We are sad that there will be not service for Dave.  We talked to him a while ago at Smith's and he was smiling.  That made us happy.

With Sympathy, Dave and Carlta

I am so sorry about Dave.  I knew him and Carol because I got one of their red poodles.  We loved her so much and was so thankful to get her.  I spent quite a few hours at their house picking her out and playing with her before I could bring her home.  So sorry for your loss.

Dave was a very decent and pleasant gentleman.  I haven't seen him in a long time.  I used to enjoy visiting with him.  He told me about his antifreeze tanning technique.

I am saddened to hear of his passing.

All of us at the Wind River Heritage Center are sending our condolences to all of Daves' family members.  He was a great friend to all of us.  We will always be thankful for all his help in building the WRHC.  We will miss his smiling face and quick wit.  He was always happy to assist us whenever we needed him. Children and adults alike loved his tales.  My heart is saddened that we will no longer share coffee, his special coffee cup will always remind me of him.  Dave, I hope you and Jake are having a great time swapping stories!
