Mrs.Starbuck
I just wanted to write and tell you I'm so sorry for your loss. You don't know me but you were my sons Tyler's teacher and My husband was a inmate at the wyoming for quite awhile. Mr Gary as my husband Domingo called him treated the inmates vey good. Alot of the men there didn't only think of him as the warden but their friend. He always had a big heart for the familys and children that had a loved one in there. He helped me and my kids in so many ways. One day when he was on tv I called in and told him live on the air how much he really helped us, he kinda gotta little embarressed but and said he didn't deserve that because he was just doing his job. We know he went way beyond just his job he kept familys together and made the time it so that our kids and others kept the bond with the children. The most rememberable being he started a book club so dads could get books for free and read them to their kids. We were said to hear when he left the honor farm and now to hear that he is gone. Domingo really looked up to him and will miss seeing him around town. He was a good, kind hearted man and I am blessed to have known him. Your in our prayers and he'll be missed. God Bless you.

Candace and children,
We were so sorry to read of Gary's death. I knew he had a recurrence of cancer- but hoped that the treatments had been successful. My husband visited with Gary shortly after they were both diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, offering some moral support and gaining some from the contact with Gary.

He was a very nice man- and we all share your grief at his death.
