George E. 'Rasty' Givens

Givens, George E. "Rasty"

Brett and Dode - I am sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I think God must be a cowboy at heart - Cause he made wide open spaces from the start - He made grass and trees and mountains and a horse to be a friend - And trails to lead ol' cowboys home again (Chris LeDoux). Rasty is home, may peace be with you all.

Ronnie and Tracy, I am really sorry for your loss. He was quite a character and it shows in that grandson you gave him. Dalton will carry on.

I will always remember the many holiday dinners shared at Jesse & Isabelle Posey's with Rasty & Ellen. Clayton Danks was one of the many people also at those dinners. I always enjoyed visiting with Rasty when he would stop in at the Bank. He was a super guy and a "real" Cowboy. He will be missed by many. We are sorry for your loss.

To the Family of Uncle Rasty,
I am sorry that I cannot be there with all of you to celebrate the life of your dad. I am unable to attend as I am in Cheyenne with a substantial agenda. However my prayers and support are with everyone, and that Rasty is in a better place visiting with Aunt Ellen and my Mom.

With deepest sympathy,

Gary Collins

To the family,

I'd like to extend my sincere condolences at your loss. Rasty was always held in high esteem by my father and my grandparents. They loved him and considered him a family member and dear friend.
