Verna M. Frost

Frost, Verna M.

Chuck and Marty,
Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. It's so hard to loose a parent. May God's peace be with you and your family. Love

Roger & Darla Hunter - 4/30/2009

LooAnn called me this afternoon to inform me of the passing of Aunt Verna who is actually a cousin to me by marriage. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing but she must have been a wonderful person for God to leave her here on earth so long. I do wish I could have met her and her family. I believe my brother Lon E. Frost was named for Lon Frost. Mae Frost Butler was a dear family member to my family but also a dear friend. My grandfather, Idol Washington Frost was a half brother to Uncle Charlie Frost. Please know you are in our prayers. Mary Frost Akers, Corydon, Iowa.

Hello,

My name is Judy Anderson Hilton-Janis. My parents were Helen and Oscar Anderson. I graduated from Sidney High School in l960. Our family was active in the Methodist Church, Rainbow, Demolay, Eastern Star...and in all those venues, I remember Verna always being there, always calm, stable, caring, and working steadily. I remember her sweet smile amidst the chaos of bunches of noisy, chattering children at Sunday School. How lucky I was to have women like her in my life! My mother, Helen, passed away last year at the age of 96. She, too, loved Verna for her quiet dignity and steadfast nature. Please accept my sincere condolences and be assured that Verna's well-lived life is remembered and valued by many.

Sincerely,
Judy
