Jerald 'Jerry' Yonker

Yonker, Jerald "Jerry"

Faye and family, So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. He was one of my favorite customers when I worked at  John Deere in Riverton. We shared several interesting conversations and lots of laughs! He will be missed by all that knew him.

Dear Faye,

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Jerry... the short time we knew him our conversation was rooted in God's Word- he challenged us and inspired us so! I will never forget his kind and gracious words!
I can almost hear Jesus say to him- "Well done - good and faithful servant." Prayers and hugs sweet friend-❤️🥲

How do you possibly put into words the breadth of a godly man's life & his impact on you?

Jerry reflected Christ on earth by how he lived. His life on earth was a success, and he exemplified the true Christian businessman.

I became a better person for knowing him. I so look forward to seeing him again soon!

God bless you Faye.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Faye and Family.  I knew Jerry only a short time, but that's all that was needed to know him as a good and caring man.

God bless...

Faye and family,

I am so sorry to hear that the world is without Jerry. His dry sense of humor and common sense were always welcome. My heart breaks for those left to mourn but rejoices for Jerry is at peace and at home. I feel honored to have known him these many years.

What a blessing to have known Jerry as a neighbor and friend.  He was the best.  His presence, kindness and humor will be sorely missed.  May God bless and comfort you Faye and the entire family.  Heaven shines a little brighter at his homecoming, yet our hearts mourn the loss.  Godspeed, dear friend.

As I remember my Dad, I sit here this morning in his home-office with his casket and all the beautiful flowers looking at his desk and empty chair. Remembering when we would drink coffee together at 5 am in morning in his last days of care and talking and reading the bible. My Dad enjoyed his coffee every morning with his exact recipe and the cup filled to the very top of the brim.
Our family gathered last night as Dad’s body was brought back to the house and we had a spiritually filled evening in fellowship remembering Dad, crying , some laughter, thankful and playing many of his favorite hymns and family singing along.
And as I sit here now 5am reading and praying, I reflect on Dad’s days here on earth in reflecting through how he carried himself with the mind of the Lord. I can only imagine the things Dad is experiencing right now in Heaven as I read, 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 “But as it is written, Eye hath  not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things of God hath prepared for them that love Him. But, God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.”
Dad truly was a man of the Deep things of God and they that really knew Dad recognized it. And now free from the sufferings of this world. I look forward to seeing Dad soon one day in Heaven.
Love you Dad, I greatly miss You! Love Mike
