Joey Bohrer

Bohrer, Joey

Dear Marie and family,

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Joe. He was quick with a smile and the occasional jest that made him very well liked by his peers and the residents of WLRC. His dedication and compassion to care for others was evident in the years I knew him. I hope you can all find some solace knowing how much of an impact Joe made on those around him. GOD bless…

I am sorry for the your loss. I  enjoyed working with Joe and considered him a friend. He was quick to offer advice or lend a helping hand.  Work will not be the same without him coming over to poke fun at me or to simply invite me to lunch. I will miss his passioned discussions about life and the well being of the people he enjoyed supporting at the WLRC. He was a compassionate and sensitive person.

To Marie and family,
I'm sorry for your loss. Joe's passion for the residents at WLRC was phenomenal. My favorite name for him was Joe Boiler that a resident named him. He did a wonderful job while teaching being able to connect with the staff he was teaching. He will definitely be missed by many.

Tiffanie Nelson - 8/22/2023

I am so sorry for your loss.  I hope you can find comfort in knowing you have the chance to see Joey again.  The Bible promises, "There is going to be a resurrection." (Acts 24:15) What a wonderful time this will be.

Our contact with Joe has been limited but we so appreciate all he has done for and meant to Marie and her boys!  Thank you so much!  May those left behind feel peace and strength and comfort whether it be Marie and boys or all other family and friends!

Dear Marie,

Some of my best memories of the WLRC have Joe written all over them. We would argue and get all fired up and before the jousting was over we were both laughing with one another. He was a kind, gentle and loving soul. Please find some consolation in knowing that you managed to raise a really outstanding husband!

Steve Sawtelle - 8/27/2023
