I first met Doug in 1992 when he was a DSHS Investgator, and then I got the opportunity to work with he and Liz for years at WSP. Doug was a great man and fun to to be around. I worked with Doug in law-enforcement in Converse County in the early 1980s. I found him to be a very competent law-enforcement officer who with a quick smile and a friendly greeting was very easy to like and to work with. My sincere condolences go out to Betty and the family. May he rest in peace.
