I only knew her as Grandma Brown. ❤️  The first time I met her in Denver, with the Tourkolias family, she made me hers. On one of her many  visits to see Jeri and the girls, she knew I was sick and would be staying home by myself. She insisted I stay with her during the day so she could kept watch over me, at Jeri's home, while everyone else was at work and school. For those two days I worked on my homework, we watched tv, napped and made cookies. It was probably the best two sick days a girl could have asked for. Sick days usually meant I was home by myself wishing my mom was home with me.  This time, I had the love and warmth of a grandmother by my side.  And cookies, to give my two sisters, Trish & Sena when they got home from school. Thank you, Tourkolias family, for sharing this wonderful woman with me and my husband.  And thank you, Grandma Brown, for your love. 💞

I am so sorry to hear about Gerri's passing.  She was an amazing woman and a wonderful example of a mother, friend& cook. I was blessed to have been educated at St Stephen's Mission where she was one of the cooks.  Not just a cook but an amazing cook.  Thank you for your love and smiles which you always had.  RIP dear child of God.

I met Mrs Brown at St Stephen's. I will always remember her beautiful smile and the way she teased us all.
Remarkable woman, sorry for your loss

What an amazing mother, grandmother, friend, and cook. She will be missed by so many but heaven will be graced with her presence.

I attended Saint Stephen's school thru my freshman year of high school and that is where I met Gerri and her kids.

When we would go for lunch, Mrs. Brown would always have a big smile on her face, a twinkle in her eye, and a special tease or two for many of the  students. I would encounter her often in my adult life when I would go out to St. Stephen's to visit my mother (who worked at St. Stephen's for 30 years). Gerri was always so friendly, and I especially loved to hear her talk about her daughter (and my friend) Jerilyn. She would just light up when she talked about Jeri and her grandkids. She dearly loved them.

My heartfelt condolences go out to all of her kids grandkids as I know she will be missed so much be all of them.

I am so sorry I did not attend the funeral as I just found out about her passing  Monday afternoon. I will be keeping you all in my prayers and please know that you have a very special angel looking down over you as you navigate through life without her. God bless you all.

Geraldine was the sweetest, kindest person I have ever had the honor of knowing. She was loved by so many, her smile lighting up the whole room. My heart goes out to her Children, Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. I will carry her in my heart forever, she is with her family in Heaven. 🙏🏽

I remember Mrs. Brown from St. Stephens.  She made the very best cinnamon rolls!  Friday at mass you could smell them cooking.  Another angel made it to heaven.
