My heart goes out to you both. I have known Gerti my entire life and have so many fond memories of her and the boys when we were all younger. She was truly an original in so many ways. She loved her family and friends fiercely and had the best sense of humor. In more recent times, we would talk on the phone and laugh and laugh about all of those old memories or she would tell me all about her family and especially the grandkids. She was so proud of everyone. She will be missed!!

While I know it is heartbreaking to lose her, it is comforting to know she is finally reunited with her boys. I am sure they are having lots of heavenly fun together!
