💞Geoff, my treasured brother-in-law, had a heart as big as his spirit—kind, generous, and always looking out for those he loved. My favorite memory is the day he left the Garden City hospital administrators speechless, proving that family always comes first. During a family meeting about our mother-in-law Janet’s care, he sat quietly in his corner, arms crossed over his Harley Davidson shirt, listening intently. But when the time came, he made his stance crystal clear—while catching the administrators off guard, he left the rest of us all laughing out loud. With his classic blend of humor and conviction, he spoke up: “No disrespect, ma’am, but this ain’t a belly—it’s a bank.”  

His warmth, laughter, and unwavering devotion will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, Geoff—you made our family and the world a better place. 💞

In this time of sorrow and reflection. Hold fast to the wonderful memories created. In the years ahead those memories will bring comfort and smiles.

I had the privileged of working with Geoff at the bus garage. He was always a nice guy who appreciated everyone around him.  The kids loved him and missed him, when he had to quit working.

The world will be a little  less brighter with him gone.

I worked with Geoff on and off for years.  Always the first to stop and visit and always shared a memory.  I'm so sorry for his loss and know that he mentored so many hands in the field.  Much love to his bride and his family.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of Geoff, our brother-in-law and an extraordinary presence in our lives. His warmth and spirit left an unforgettable mark on our family, and we hold his memory close.

Thinking back to the early 1980s, Geoff and Sheryl lived with us and our boys Brent and Eric in the farmhouse in Rapid City, Michigan, brings back so many memories. Geoff adored our sons, and they adored him right back. He was always there with a smile and a helping hand.

We will never forget our first family vacation out west to Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Geoff’s sense of adventure and zest for life made that trip truly unforgettable. We camped in beautiful places, explored amazing sights, and I think that was when he first dreamed of moving west.

Over the years, visiting him in Wyoming always meant new adventures—filled with laughter, stories, and moments that have become treasured memories. Geoff gave so much of himself to those around him, and we are all better for having had him in our lives.

We will miss him terribly, but we will carry him with us always— in the whisper of wind over the mountains he loved, in the echo of his hearty laugh, and in the warmth of the love he so freely gave.

Rest peacefully, Geoff. Thank you for the love, the memories, and the adventure.

I am so sorry to hear of Geoff's passing and send my deepest condolences to all of you.  May he rest in peace and be forever remembered as you gaze upon those mountains that he so deeply loved.  

Sheryl, I am shocked and saddened by the passing of Geoff. We had many good visits and stories about hunting, Ford vehicles, and John Deere equipment, not to mention the Greenline Equipment cap that I gave him in this picture. He loved his farm, his numerous JD pieces of equipment, and his many Ford vehicles but most of all he loved his family, friends and above all his Sherly. Rest in peace friend.

Geoff was a great man, we enjoyed the company of Geoff and his wife Sheryl at our fishing lodge in Alaska several years ago ...even if they wanted to steal my black lab. I guess when I think about him from now on, I will remember his hunting stories and his appreciation for nature, his respect for wildlife and most of all, his love for Sheryl.  May his Memory be Forever Eternal. Give Sooty a hug from me and throw a stick or two for her.
