Mrs O will be loved and remembered in many many hearts. The patience she had as a teacher and the live and laughter she gave to all of us students was such a unique gift she gave to us. I hope you can find comfort in knowing how lived she was and laughter in all the wonderful stories I am sure you will hear...

My heart is heavy for you, but extremely happy for Louise. I know she is where she has wanted to be for several years, with our Heavenly Father. I want you to know that Louise is responsible for the formation of the Peace by Piece Quilt Circle. I did not know her at the time but way back in 1997...she called me up and said "Daria you need to start a quilt Circle in our church and I will be your first member." So we did, she organized me and I organized the quilt circle. We have been meeting once a month since then. At one point we were 27 member strong but now nearly 20 years later we are down to 14 members but we still meet once a month. Many times we would reminisce about Louise's wisdom and how she kept us all in tow and taught us so much about quilting. She went on several weekend retreats with us and would definalely not sew on Sunday. She warned us that if we would sew on Sunday, we would have to pick it out with our nose on Monday. We all love Louise very very much, she was very dear and special to all of us. I will be keeping you all in my prayers because I know personally that even though Louise is happier now, you all will have aching hearts.

Louise and I started working at Head Start the same day. I have so many wonderful memories that I will always cherish. I loved the chef hat she sewed for herself, and how she would say, "That's a bunch of hooey," ;)
Prayers for her family. She was so wonderful and will be missed.
