Harold "Slim" Eggers

Harold “Slim” Eggers, 84 of Riverton passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. As were his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at the Warm Valley Baptist Church, 204 E Euclid, Pavillion, WY.

Harold George Eggers was born on March 22, 1935 in Riverton, WY to Bruce and Hazel (Fleming) Eggers. He was raised in Riverton with his sister, Ellen, and went to Riverton High School.

He was a member of the Warm Valley Baptist Church in Pavillion, WY.

On June 5, 1965 he married his wife Marian Frances Hamburg in Riverton, WY. Together they raised two sons, Matthew Jay and Michael John. They shared 53 years together and many memories.

When Harold was young he worked as an outfitter, with cattle and horses, and for the Old Tie and Timber Company. He later worked in Mills, WY as a welder before moving to Clarks Fork, WY to start a ranch. He later moved to ranch in Lyons Valley and finally to Pavillion where he made his home. Although he worked on his ranch he also worked as a welder for Midvale Irrigation from June 1988 to December 2007 when he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Marian; sons, Matt Eggers and wife, Kristi, and Michael Eggers; grandson, Kirk Eggers; grandchildren, Echo, Shastin, and Fabian; sister, Ellen Moore; and nephews, Kenneth Moore and Vernon Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Hazel Eggers; brother-in-law, Bob Moore; nephews, Norman Moore and Bobby More and niece-in-law, Gale Moore.
