Uncle Ken and family,

We am so sorry for your loss and ours. Aunt Shirley was a great lady and will be dearly missed. Regrettably we will not be able to make it to the funeral, but we have had a Mass said for her here in Houston and will continue to pray for the repose of her soul and for each of you. May you find comfort in the Lord and the promise of eternal life.

With love,

Kristi (Asay) Harder and family

Dear Ken:

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Shirley extended lots of help and love to us. She has always been special. It is hard to be so far away and not be able to be there right now. We remember some wonderful times there. God Bless you and your family.

Dear Ken and Family. We are so sorry to learn of your loss of Shirley. Barb Yates just told us. As I think you knew, we moved to Hawaii in September and don't get the Ranger on time - we just got Jan 31 yesterday. Shirley will be so missed. Boy, we had such fun with you two. Seems like just yesterday we were celebrating green grass parties at your house. I wish we could be there with you on Wednesday but know that our hearts are with you. Much Love, Janet and Tim Britt

Ken and Family, I just got word of the passing of my dear counsin S hirley. You all know she was a favorite of the Nelles family. She was very close to her Aunt Flora and I know they are together again. God Bless . Take care Ken and we will be in touch soon. Ted and I are in Arizona. I will attend Mass tomorrow and have my own Funeral.

Although no words can really help to ease your loss, just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have fond memories of coming over to your house and being so close to the lake.
