James Jenkins

Jenkins, James

Jim was a very good friend for many years. we had alot of laughs together and created hell together for alot of people. Memories are many. he loved his Wife and family above all else. He would light up when he talked about his grand babies. A side that not everyone got to see or would even expect from Mr tough Man. I will miss him very much. He fought a good fight and I expected nothing less from him. Bless you Jimmy J.

This one really hurts. I have been around the world and have met many people. Of those people there are a few I would call a friend, and I mean FRIEND, and even fewer that I could count on. Jim was both. Jim would come running when I needed him, either to help me get out of a mess, or to tell me that I was an idiot for getting into trouble in the first place.

Jimmy J, I miss you and I have already had smiles thinking of our conversations: and times in the field when it got a little crazy.

You were the one who got me hooked on wiener dogs.

Thank you my brother for letting me be a friend for the last decade. I will always hold your memory with utmost respect and admiration. You were tough, fair, and hilarious.

My prayers go out to the family.

Was sorry to hear Jim passed away. He was a good man and excellent mechanic. Always enjoyed working with him when he would come and work on iron roughneck. Will miss him and all his family will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead Wayne

Hi Theresa, I am so sorry. I didn't even know Jim was sick. Steve was just talking about him yesterday, telling stories about when they worked on the rigs together. I am just so sorry for your loss. Words seem so worthless but it's all that I have. We are praying for you and your family. Come for a visit and get out of the house. We're old now and not nearly as crazy as we used to be but we can sit together, cry together and maybe drink some wine together. Seriously come for a visit. Lots of hugs and love coming your way.

When a man has a son he hopes he will be a better man than himself.
Jim was.

He also hopes he will marry well and have a wonderful wife and children.
Jim did.

And a Dad always hopes his son will excel at his trade and set records.
Jim did.

And when God needs someone to drill holes in Heaven's floor, to let the tears of love flourish the earth...
Jim will.

Thank you for being my son -
It was an honor to be your Dad.

Dad - 3/10/2013

Ron & Sharon,

I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother. It's so hard to lose a family member, especially one so young.

Just know that everybody at Unit Drilling is thinking of you at this sad time.

Jimmy--The Grinolds family, (Doug, Rod, Kelly) was very blessed to have worked and known you. You and Perry made working in the crazy and wild cat oil and gas world of North Dakata--"Do-Able". We won't be able to make it to your get-together on Wednesday, but we wish you and your family our blessings.
God Speed!!!!
