Barbara Jane Wood Campbell

Wood Campbell, Barbara Jane

Daria and Family,

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Barbara. She was a wonderful lady and I enjoyed working with her at Lincoln School so many years ago. May the peace which comes from the memoires of love shared, comfort you and your family now and in the days ahead.

Daria, Nichole, Alex, Amanda, Sammy, Angie and Paige,

We've had a lot of good times with Barbara. She always caught more fish than us, probably because she had more patience. She loved anything out doors. She gave us a lot of good suggestions when we were building the cabin, not that we heeded all of them, but they were still good. We swore we would never send her with Leonard and Bob to cut Christmas trees again. They had a good time, but the trees were not up to our standards. When she was doing her crafts, her house looked like Santa's work shop. She was a good cook, except for the time that she pre-heated the wrong oven on Thanksgiving Day (the turkey was put in the non-heated one). She was outdoors working and was surprised when she came in and it didn't smell like a turkey cooking. There are many memories that will make us cry, but most of them will make us happy that we were able to spent time with Barbara. When you are feeling sad, remember the good times. God bless.

Love,
Auntie Cathy

Dear Daria and family,
I am sorry for your loss, but happy for Barbara who is
at rest in the wonderful presence of our Lord. As a
volunteer for the Help for Health Hospice Home I got
to see Barbara often. She always greeted me and we
visited about her day. She loved having her hair done
and receiving compliments as to how pretty she looked.
My prayers are with all of you. God Bless Carmen Majdic

Dear Daria and family,
Wish we could be there with you on Saturday for the "farewell" for Aunt Barbara. I remember the last Starks' family reunion at Fort Robinson with all of our aunts, uncles and so many cousins in attendance. Someone wondered aloud if we'd ever be back together again. Since that day we've all had to say goodbye to dear loved one. So thankful because of our faith Christ, we know there's as grand reunion day ahead!
You all are in our thoughts and prayers,
Jonathan and Pam Starks' family

Barb's family,
Your whole immediate family has been a part of my life since I was about 8. I went through many years of VBS with you and crafts, as a child and as the mom of Brandii and Brett. I always loved it when you and Phyllis were in charge of crafts because it was always creative and fun. You taught me in Sunday School. We played football and Vicky always came out on top! You always brought back good memories within my family and our church family! You taught both of my children in first grade and they loved you! You were an awesome teacher and friend and a great influence in Terry's and my life! We've loved you for many years and we know that all is well with your soul!!! God bless you family!
