Our thoughts are with you at this time. Don will be missed.

I worked with Don at the PD and enjoyed his off center way of looking at life. He caused many deep belly laughs and was a joy to know and work with. When I last seen him he was telling me how happy he was to be retired and to be living in Dubois. Other than his family, I don't think many people knew him like his co-workers did. We will miss him.

Oh the times we had and the shifts we worked together! You could always tell when Don was around because there would always be laughter. I last saw Don about 3 weeks ago when we had an RPD "Old timers lunch" at the Holiday Inn.
Glad to have known 'ya Don. It was one hell of a ride wasn't it? God be with you 'till we meet again.

WE HAVE ALOT OF MEMORIES OF DON AND WILL NEVER FORGET HIM, HE WAS ALWAYS SO HAPPY AND ALWAYS HAD A JOKE OR TWO FOR US. WE WILL MISS YOU DON

Micky,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I loved both of you like parents and will always remember the fun at the cabin, your visits to Riverton on your way to Walmart. You have comforted my family during the worst of times and I would like to repay that with kind words and loving wishes. I live in Arizona now and you can call me at (307)851-2476. The loss of a spouse seems unbearable and if there is anything I can do just call and perhaps a get away visit to Scottsdale just to heal. Love Sheri Stinson Burke

We were so sorry to hear of Don's passing. We remember his great kindness to us a few years ago when we were trying to get started on our cabin in the Porcupine area. Unexpectedly, our materials were all unloaded out on the Union Pass road and were just too big and heavy for us to move. Don stopped and was kind enough to offer to help, and to enlist the help of some other kind neighbors and turned what would have been a disaster for us into a completed job. He was a good friend and neighbor. Our thoughts are with you.
