Mantle, Lonnie

Another of the old timers and their great knowledge of the rural, ranching life is gone. May you be comforted by your memories of a life well lived. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Truly one of the greatest cowboys and cattleman I ever knew. He was a mentor to my boys. I will forever remember his dry sense of humor and his quick laugh I am glad he and Grace are reunited again I hope they are two stepping all over heaven. Love and prayers to the family

Lonnie will be greatly missed. He and Grace were quite a team. We enjoyed them very much. They will always be remembered and missed by our entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all his family.

Lonnie is part of cowboy history that is getting by us. I always thought very highly of Lonnie as he was a good, ethical man that liked to help people. My condolences to the Mantle and Vogel family.

I learned that I could trust Lonnie to rent me good dude horses to pack or ride. For many years now Dar and Bob have carried on that tradition of knowing their horses and a person can trust what they say.

I was saddened to hear of Lonnie’s passing. I have wonderful memories of both Lonnie and Grace when they lived on Arapaho RT. I was their baby sitter for a couple of years traveling with the family as they did rodeos and swapped out horses. He was a hard working man that loved the outdoors, horses and his family. He will be missed by many. Sending my condolences to his family.
