William B. 'Bill' Carlson

Carlson, William B. "Bill"

Dear Aunt Opal. So sorry we couldnt make it to the service. We all hope your doing strong! I will never forget the visits from you and uncle bill back to Nebraska. He will always have a place back here, in love, spirit, and mind. My dad, Grover, would have loved to sit down and talk about some old times if he was able, but always remember, he is thinking about Bill. If theres anything we can do let us know, and you are always welcome back to Nebraska, with us Carlsons, if you like. I wish my kids could remember uncle Bill, like i do. He was a strong man, which I think came from Oscar. I know one thing, we will always try to carry that with the name and family. I am very proud to be a Carlson and to have had a uncle Bill, that stood for what they believed in. If I can have as much fun as uncle Bill and you have had over the years, We will be blessed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. LOVE paul, tara, marti and colby Carlson

Hi Opal:

I am sorry to hear about Bill and even more sorry I didn't get the chance to say good-bye to him. I will really miss seeing him outside helping you clean up the yard and talking to my dogs. I didn't get to know him that well, but really enjoyed joking and talking with him the times we met outside. If there is anything you need, please don't hesitate to knock or call me. I would be more than happy to help with anything you might need.
