One of my fondest memories growing up and probably what started my love of sheep was going over the canyon on the Moskee road to visit and being allowed to feed the baby lambs that were bums. We were cattle people next door, too many coyotes my Dad, Joe Kokesh said.

I also have my red metal ants and butterflies made by Burnayse that my mom, Joan Kokesh bought for me. They come out every summer and sit on my front steps.

My heart goes out to you on your loss.

Louise, so sorry to hear about your beloved Burnayse. He was such a great man. My mom and dad, Pius and Dorothy Mathern, just loved having breakfast with you both at the airport after church.
May God be with you and your family.
Love you Louise.

Prayers in your times of sorrow. I was truly blessed to have Burnayse as a mentor. From Ranch City parties to the Honor of being his doctor. I will always remember his smile and laughter.

My thoughts and prayers for all the family. I will really miss sitting by Bernie inchurch and listening to him sing. I love the very affectionate interaction he and his wife shared with each other. I’m sure he is now entertaining everyone in heaven. (I Was interested to read that he stayed with the Lathrop’s in Casper. My mother, Catherine Studer, was best friends with Wilma Lathrop from Casper. Small world.)
God bless you all.

Our hearts go out to you and your family with the loss of your dear loved one. There are no words to take away sadness when you lose someone you love. In our time of deepest need the tenderness of God is a refuge like no other. He alone understands our sorrows and draws near in love to wipe away our tears
When my mother passed away, we found the resurrection hope very comforting.
May the resurrection hope sustain you. A loved one lost can grieve the heart, and makes us yearn for tomorrow, when Jehovah will keep the promise he made of no pain, no death, no sorrow found at Revelation 21:4.
