Sandy and family,

I am so sorry for the passing of Wayne.  I have nothing but fond memories of your visits to Colorado.  I know he will be missed and forever loved.

My first memory of Wayne was his High school years when my siblings and I would come visit with his family & our Grandparents on their property in Jackson. Wayne was a wonderful cousin; I would play possum and he would tease me. We had so much fun in those years 1956-1958. Then life changed and I didn't see Wayne again until I was in junior high and he and Sandi were married.  They took me to Jackson with them for a few days. Then at Grandma Ransom's funeral our paths crossed again. I learned of his growing family and his life in Riverton; always proud he was a Ransom and a legacy to our Grandma.  When we lost Aunt Ilene I had a chance to spend some time with my Ransom family, experiencing Wayne's family for the first time and they were so open and welcoming. I last saw Wayne in 2010 when he helped bury Uncle Carl  Verner in Jackson. He was a great, loving , caring, compassionate man and I am better off for his being in my life. I'm so very sorry you lost him Sandi but know he is loving you still, in the arms of our savior

Wayne you were a good godly man, & a devoted husband to Sandi. You are with Jesus now.

Such fond memories of Wayne! Sunday nights at church were "choose your favorite hymn". We could always count on Wayne to pick out songs like Amazing Grace. And now he's in the presence of the One who gives us all amazing grace.  We tip our hats to a man who loved Jesus and sending love to all your family!

It was a pleasure to know you when I was younger and you thought me many lessons during my high schools years.  Rest in Peace Wayne!

We are unable to attend today's service.  But please know that our family is thinking of your family today.  Our children were directly influenced by the leadership Wayne displayed as the AWANA director for so many years.  We are rejoicing with you today knowing that He's in the presence of our Savior, and that one day you can see him again.  Rest in peace Wayne, you finished well.
